Managed Care Industry Can Now Implement Re-Engineered
Consumer Directed Health Plans (CDHPs) with One Cohesive and
Powerful Technology Solution
The TETHIC/CDHCC Health Industry Conference-held on December
7-9-at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC features
consumer-centric technologies, solutions, workshops, and discussions
led by leading industry speakers. In the case study, The Integration
of Human Capital and Technology, ikaSystems
will demonstrate how health plans can deploy one cohesive and
powerful solution to enable the sale of CDHPs, which increases
health plan potential while decreasing employee's costs.
ikaSystems will
demonstrate that by packaging state-of-the-art technology with human
capital, health plans can design optimal CDHP programs for employers
and individuals. The Integration of Human Capital and Technology
will be led by Howard Rubin, Director of Operations, Tax Savings
Program and James Marzano, Chief Information Officer, both of ikaSystems. "In the current environment, where most
employers are willing to switch health insurance carriers for a
5-10% reduction in premium costs, the marketplace will respond
strongly to a properly designed CDHP, which will reduce premium
costs for employers by 10-30% and for employees by 40-80%," says
Rubin.
These extraordinary results are possible when utilizing a
re-engineered flex plan to accommodate CDHP, which takes full
advantage of available tax savings. However, the results are
dependent on employing services not ordinarily available in the TPA
world, and where technology and processing transactions are
typically the primary focus.
ikaSystems is the
